Matthew Slater – Survey Project Manager

Matt started working for Premier Surveys as an Assistant Surveyor with no experience in the industry. From being on site regularly he soon learned the ropes and realised he wanted to make a career of surveying.

Premier Surveys supported his growth and development, providing the relevant practical training required to move his career along. He was also given the opportunity to complete a Geospatial Apprenticeship course, which taught him the theory of surveying to underpin the practical elements.

Matt was able to draw on his experience and knowledge to advance through the ranks, first becoming a Surveyor then later advancing to become a Senior Surveyor. Matt now manages a portfolio of our larger and more complex projects as our Survey Project Manager.

Vaia Papadimitriou MSc - Director

Vaia joined Premier Surveys in 2015 as a qualified surveyor and was promoted to the management team in 2018. She later became a company Director in 2024.

Vaia is responsible for leading our internal Measured Building Survey and Revit Modelling teams, along with managing our ISO:9001 Quality management system. She has developed a deep understanding of the values and practises of ISO:9001 and effectively manages our company compliance, as well as embedding the values into every area of the business.

Vaia is also our resident drone expert, holding a remote pilot licence and overseeing the successful delivery of all drone related projects. Understanding the importance of investing in new technologies, she aims to not only explore new business opportunities but also to integrate drone technology into existing workflows.

Vaia also plays a key role in the research and development aspect of the business from both a research and reporting point of view and is actively involved in business development and promoting the company externally.

Valentin Draperi – Utility Survey Manager

Valentin joined the company as a surveyor specialising in underground utilities and CCTV drainage survey works. After being with the business for some time Valentin decided he would like to advance his career with Premier Surveys.

Already equip with the practical experience, the business supported his career goals with bespoke training and specific academic courses to broaden his skillset appropriately. When the opportunity arose to advance into a management role, Valentin grabbed it with both hands.

As Utility Survey Manager Valentin leads our underground utilities and CCTV drainage team, managing a wide portfolio of clients and the successful delivery of multiple below-ground mapping projects to deadline and budget.

The varied role plays to his strengths and he enjoys the opportunity to keep his hand in with site work, while also managing the day-to-day running of our specialist underground utilities team.
